We are a Colombian company whose main objective is to contribute to the agricultural, industrial, social and economic development of the Orinoquía Region, by strengthening the essential stages of the cashew production chain.

Marañones de la Orinoquía was born in 2016 and since that day we have been in charge of producing the best quality cashew in Colombia.
Likewise, we have managed to georeference 100% of the clones planted in the plantations with productivity, yield and nutrition indices. This allows us to obtain healthy fruits, free of pesticides and at the same time take care of the environment.

2016

Marañones de la Orinoquía is created with the goal of building the country through cashew cultivation.

2017

The first cashew processing factory in Colombia is inaugurated, and Kjú is born — the first brand 100% grown and processed in Colombia.

2019

We introduced precision agriculture to our crops and georeferenced each tree. This ensures delicious, pesticide-free fruits.

2021

We obtained our first ICA nursery certification. We are a team committed to bringing the best Colombian cashews to the world.

2022

On July 11, the first industrial cashew processing factory in Colombia was inaugurated.

2023

We continue expanding tree production in the region, promoting our potential as a promising industry for cashew production.
